Join us for a unique experience to help you release stress, recharge your battery, and regulate your nervous system. We'll use the technology of Kundalini Yoga & Meditation to "play the body like an instrument" with a series movement (called a kriya), breath, and mantra. In Kundalini Yoga, each kriya works like a recipe and has a specific effect on the body - physically and energetically. The system of pressure and release supports the nervous system and glandular system -- making us feel refreshed, revitalized, and whole.
If you love the victorious feeling after a barre/pilates class, you’ll love the feeling of power moving through a kriya. In this practice, rest is also an important part of the recipe and is not to be missed. This is where the integration happens! After the series of movement, we'll indulge in deep relaxation with reiki and participate in a group kundalini meditation that includes singing/chanting. Singing has a powerful impact on the nervous system and activates our "rest and digest" mode. Stay for optional communi-tea time where there will be space to share your experience, pull oracle cards, and ask any questions about Kundalini Yoga & Meditation.
Elizabeth affectionately describes this practice as "putting yourself in the washing machine" in a good way. Ideal for folks recovering from burnout, processing grief, seeking to deepen their connection to their intuition, or simply wanting to feel more expansive, capable, & alive! It's best understood by experiencing it, so come try it. No previous yoga experience required. Come as you are!

MORE ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Elizabeth Bogart is a Kundalini Yoga and Prenatal Yoga teacher, as well as a Reiki Practitioner. She was introduced to Kundalini Yoga while living in India. Her roommate dragged her to a class and by the end, she felt sparkly, shiny, new, and oddly more whole from the inside out. She started practicing 3-4x week during a very demanding chapter in her life and attributes Kundalini Yoga for helping her maintain physical, mental, emotional, spiritually balance during a very demanding season of life when she was deep in “growth mode.” Since becoming a teacher, she has witnessed this practice support folks during major life transitions — new jobs, ending/beginning relationships, making hard life decisions, taking care of aging parents, processing grief/heartache, and weathering stressors of daily life. Elizabeth believes deeply that this practice expands your capacity to show up for yourself, your loved ones, and community. Stay connected via @eb_heartwork
