Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice that uses body awareness and breath techniques to help you enter the theta brain wave state (that liminal space between awake and asleep) to access deep levels of rest and healing. This experience feels like an extended body scan or giant Savasana. At the beginning of class, we'll take extra care to create a "nidra nest." Folks are encouraged to bring any items that will provide extra comfort (blankets, pillows, bolster, shawls, eye masks, wear comfy clothes (maybe even PJs etc.) Tea will be served afterwards with options to order select specialty drinks from the Love Cafe menu. This experience is offered every 3rd Sunday at Love Cafe.
