ORACLE CARD READINGS

WHAT TO EXPECT

April’s Girl Dinner, I’ll be offering oracle card readings. My friend likes to say “tarot cards slap, oracle cards hug.” I typically use Rebecca Campbell’s Oracle Card decks. She features different themes using the rose, ancient stones, and water imagery and metaphors along with her messages. You’ll have an opportunity to pick from a deck (or combo of decks) of your choice, and can choose to do a single card pull or a 4+ card spread. We’ll use the imagery, written card descriptions, and our own intuition & associations with the imagery to interpret the cards together. Come open & curious, or come with a specific question. If you don't have any specific questions in mind, I’ll have example questions & spreads you can pick from.

MY TAKE ON THE PROCESS

While my main modalities are Kundalini Yoga & Reiki. I typically include an oracle card pull after classes and sessions. I think oracle cards are such a powerful way to connect to your intuition. I love the tactile nature of pulling Oracle Cards and the way an image, symbol, or metaphor can unlock an inner knowing or illustrate and add clarity to a big feeling. Beyond just the card pulled, I feel the conversation that it inspires is just as valuable. The Art History major in me loves unpacking symbolism, the former English teacher in me loves posing interesting self-reflective questions, and the yoga teacher in me loves reminding you to honor the sensory data of your body and to take your goosebumps seriously.
