In the Elements:

An Outdoor Kundalini Yoga Series at Hubbard Park

Let’s chant with the plants, breathe with the trees, sing to the stream, and practice in the elements.

Join Elizabeth Bogart at Hubbard Park for an outdoor yoga series beginning Tuesday, September 15th through Tuesday, October 27th. Find me under the trees and let’s practice in the elements. In honor of this Fall series theme, each class will be centered around a different element (water, fire, earth, air, or ether). Plan for the outdoors. BYO-mat, blankets, and anything else you need for practice. Dress for the weather.

WHERE TO FIND US

There is easy access parking near the Park. Walk through the fairy-like tunnel towards the beer garden and look to the left. You’ll find me under the tree near the river. If you can’t spot me, text (414) 587-1001.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each 90-minute class blends breathwork, gentle movement, mantra, and meditation to help you: reduce stress, boost focus and creativity, support emotional balance, and strengthen your nervous system. Kundalini is known as the “Yoga of Experience.” It includes a kriya (physical movement), rest, and meditation with mantra. It’s best understood by experiencing it. So, come try it!

No experience needed. Every body and everybody welcome.

MORE ABOUT THE PRACTICE

Kundalini Yoga, known as the "Yoga of Experience,” is a unique combination of movement (called a kriya), breathing techniques (pranayama), mantra (chanting), and meditation with mudra (hand postures). Each kriya works like a recipe and has a specific effect on the body - physically and energetically. The system of pressure and release supports the nervous system to reset, regulate, and balance the glandular system. Elizabeth has been teaching/practicing this style of yoga for over 15 years and affectionately describes this practice as "putting yourself in the washing machine" in a good way. Ideal for folks recovering from burnout, processing grief, deepening their intuition, or simply wanting to feel more expansive, capable, & alive! It's best understood by experiencing it, so come try it.
